Sunbonnet Cottage Tour

I just heard the news. That Hooked on Houses is hosting a tour of homes for today only. I have to aplogize, my slide show was created extremely hastily. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy the pictures of Sunbonnet Cottage.

Please note: For some strange reason, you have to click on the "View All Images" button to see the pictures.

Here is a list of amazing and talented people who participated in the home tours:

Melissa, your cottage is so charming! I really enjoyed your tour. How could you walk through that sunny yellow door and not smile?

Thanks for joining the blog party. I'll get your link posted shortly. I just need you to do a couple of things:

1) Add a link to the blog party button back to my homepage, which is http://hookedonhouses.wordpress.com.

2) Add a link back to my main party page so your readers can easily hop over there to check out the list of blogs that are participating. That link is:

(Sorry--had to split the link up to fit.)

If you have any questions, let me know. Thanks! -Julia :-)

I love your country home! So cozy. And that BED! Amazing! You must love curling up in that big rustic goodness.

I found you through Hooked on Houses...I'm on the tour, too (but I cheated and didn't show my own house :-)

I love your home, it's fun and 'homey' too :)

I had that same chandelier as yours, the one you painted aqua blue...I sent that pic to my mom because she has it now, maybe she'll paint hers now :)

Is that a Hoosier in your laundry room? I have one, too...right now, it is just hanging out in my basement with the other 'stuff', but I hope to re-do my basement in a beach cottage sort of theme and then bring the hoosier into the mix of things down there. I feel like I have abandoned it since we moved to this house...it used to be in our dining room at the old house.

Nice to meet you:) Come see my open house if you get the chance.

Loved your home and I have a question about the floor in the kitchen. What is the material you used on the floor? It looks a lot like the Pergo tile I used in my kitchen. I have the same colors and all but we put ours on the diagonal.

Hi Melissa! Wow, the slide show of your beautiful home is just wonderful! You have so many lovely things in your home, and so tastefully put together too. Just lovely! Thank you for coming to visit my blog, and for taking the time to leave a comment. I really appreciate that a lot. It was very nice to 'meet' you and I hope to see you again soon. Have a great day!

I love you cottage and I'm absolutely crazy over your bright, yellow front door. It looks good enough to eat. I feel the urge to find something to paint that exact shade immediately!

I'm in love with the color of your front door. You've caused me to rethink what I was planning to do in our living room. Thanks for the inspiration. Love your homey home. Any one would feel comfortable there.
