- I believe that a home is more than a house. A home is an extension of the family who dwells amongst its walls. Sunbonnet Cottage is like a mother to me and my family. She comforts, nourishes and protects us. She keeps us safe from life's elements. She is there for us through the good and the not so good. She tenderly sends us off every morning and lovingly welcomes us home every evening with open arms. I created this blog so that I could let Sunbonnet Cottage know how much my family and I love and appreciate her.
Sunbonnet Cottage is dedicated to my mother, Golda Fagele, z"l, and to my sister, Roberta, z"l. May they rest in eternal peace and know that they are loved and never forgotten.

Happy 4th of July. Still remember well how we joined in celebrating 4th of July when we were in Athens, GA way back in 1996.
Still remember how our boy's (Syazwan) Pre-K friend (Suddenly can't recall her name) came and asked to do her usual swing around my arms...oh how close they were then and I wonder where she is now.
Have been trying to serach for her but failed..

I found your blog through Melissa's and am really excited about finding you.
Because I too am "thinking" about doing something on line, a cute little shop of sorts, to play two roles - one - to give me an escape for my creative side and two - to maybe make someone else's life just a little brighter and happier. My friend and I are planning a "dry run" at our local farmer's market this coming Thurs. With the economy the way it is, who knows what people are willing to spend their hard earned money on.
But I am looking forward to the challenge.

Sorry I've been MIA...been trying to stay busy with projects around the house, so I wuoldn't miss Hubby and pups so badly while they are in New Mexico star-gazing...
I am happy to report, they are heading home today, only 1700 miles away...
